Creating Dante Essay Topics
Creating Dante Essay TopicsHave you ever considered writing a Dante essay? You might have heard of Dante in the history of art and literature, but what's all the fuss about? What does the story of Dante's descent into hell tell us about human nature? Should Dante have gone to hell? There are many different interpretations of Dante's tale. For instance, some people believe that he was, essentially, going through a metamorphosis of sorts as he reached the pinnacle of his spiritual evolution. And they believe that this is the reason why he ended up in hell. What about the question of who should write the Dante essay topics? The whole process will depend on the student. If the student has already read Dante and liked it, there is no need to rewrite. However, some students have not read any Dante, so this is where a rewriting project comes in.As I mentioned earlier, there are a number of different choices when it comes to subject matter for this type of study. You could write about Dante's social life, his relationship with Beatrice, and his reaction to being thrust into hell. Or you could concentrate on Dante's love for Beatrice, his feelings for her, and how he was able to love her despite the fact that she didn't love him back.Another area you could focus on is Dante's reflections on the spiritual struggle that was taking place in his mind as he struggled with the truth of whether or not he had loved Beatrice in his heart. What kind of person was he in the midst of this spiritual conflict?A great variation to explore is the way that Dante dealt with his anger at his father. He may have been angry at his father because he felt that his father was not supportive enough of his dream of becoming a poet. Or perhaps Dante thought that his father's failure to support him in his artistic endeavors was proof that his father was less than supportive of him in life. Thus, you should be willing to consider how a student would react to these questions if they were asked in an es say on Dante. The truth is that there is little you can do as a student when it comes to writing these kinds of essays. All you can do is to explore the different options available and decide which one most closely matches your personality.Think of it this way: there is no way that you can come up with two completely different opinions on the same issue. No matter what you read, you are left with the same choice as you make your own decisions. So, it's the kind of situation that will force you to think through your own thoughts and to exercise some critical thinking skills.

Monolingual AP English Essay Samples
Monolingual AP English Essay SamplesIn my Monolingual Ap Lang essay samples (an elementary AP English essay), I provide explanations for words and phrases that the student may not know. The individual examples are meant to be studied by the student, then analyzed by the teacher to determine if the student has understood the concept and lesson in the paragraph. As the grammar professor suggested, you should have a system in place where the teacher can read your work, suggest changes or make corrections, then you and the student to discuss what needs to be changed or corrected. In Monolingual Ap Lang essay samples, I explain things in such a way that the reader will understand the meaning of the word and phrase. When I am working on AP English essays, I remember to avoid using unfamiliar slang words and phrases, even if they are familiar to me. The reason is that it's the teacher who has access to the students' vocabulary and your use of slang words and phrases could be perceived as bei ng disrespectful or rudeness. Students should be informed that they can correct your writing, but your opinion and viewpoint should not be threatened or have taken personally.Monolingual AP English writers need to know how to use 'non-standard' grammar. You'll see from my Monolingual Ap Lang essay samples that some of the words and phrases are simply not standard, even though they are commonly used. This can also cause confusion for the student. It is best to teach the students to follow the rules, but to be aware that there are exceptions, so you do not become a 'no-grammar' person yourself.Monolingual AP English writing is a little different than college-level writing, especially since college-level English writers are much more mature and are much less likely to write off-color remarks. The non-standard grammar and slang terms often lead to confusion for many of the students. This problem should be addressed in the AP English classes. When you develop a plan for addressing this p roblem in your own writing, you will realize that your essay has much more depth, since you are not attempting to cover too much ground in a small time period. Most Monolingual AP English writing examples contain American English. You'll note that there are many small differences between the English used in English classrooms in the United States and England. As a writer, you have to use English as a tool to communicate ideas, not as a second language. You may not be familiar with or comfortable writing in all of the English spellings and abbreviations. Although English spelling is not as hard as it was when I was in school, you may encounter an AP English essay sample that you do not know how to spell or that does not spell correctly. The writers of the Monolingual AP English essay samples that I provide are usually very good at spelling, but it is not always obvious to them. The better writers understand the difference between the seller and the unstained versions of words and how t o write using the unstained version. The more literary writers in Monolingual AP English are more successful in making a point and in delivering their message than the student who is more of a storyteller. However, the student who is not clear in his or her writing is much more likely to get it wrong, so it is good to recognize the problem. You should teach the students to be clear in their writing so that the teacher can correct their mistakes and help the student develop their writing style. In my Monolingual Ap Lang essay samples, I avoid creating a whole class of monolingual AP English writing students, but I do write about students who do not speak English as a first language. I think that such a student should be taught in a bilingual setting as well as those who speak English fluently.
